About
Jack Denlinger

At imaginLIGHT Photography, variety and creativity team up with excellent service, value and professionalism to bring you the ultimate portrait experience.

Jack Denlinger earned his degree in photography from the University of Texas at Austin, where he studied photojournalism, and spent a summer studying under Ansel Adams.

He worked for a commercial photographer and an association magazine in Austin, then served as staff photographer for Compaq Computer Corporation before opening imaginLIGHT Photography in Conroe in 1994.

He is a long-time member of the Professional Photographers of America and of the Presidential Circle, and has taught photography workshops in several states — including at Georgia O'Keeffe's Ghost Ranch in New Mexico.

His approach is simple: every client deserves a portrait that is uniquely theirs. Jack works with each senior, family and couple to understand their personality, style and story — then builds the session around that vision. He keeps learning, too, attending seminars throughout the year to bring new lighting, locations and posing ideas to every session.

Jack runs imaginLIGHT with his wife, who handles the business side. It's a small, local business built on customer service — the goal has always been to be the nice people who also take great photographs.
