Senior Portraits: questions & answers
When should I book my senior portraits?
Most seniors are photographed in the summer before or the fall of senior year so portraits are ready for yearbook deadlines and graduation announcements. Deadlines differ by school, so check yours and book early — fall dates fill first.
How many outfits can I bring?
Plan on three or four: a classic look, an everyday look, one that shows your activity or style, and an optional dressier outfit. See the senior wardrobe guide in the Journal for a full checklist.
Can I bring my horse, instrument, vehicle or sports gear?
Yes. The senior portfolio includes horses, trucks, motocross bikes, guitars, drums, trumpets, letter jackets, team uniforms and firefighter gear. Mention it when you book so the location and lighting can be planned around it.
Do you take cap-and-gown portraits?
Yes. Cap-and-gown portraits are available for graduation announcements, gifts and keepsakes.
