Where is imaginLIGHT Photography located?

Is the studio on W. Dallas St. in Conroe still open?
No. The former studio at 804 W. Dallas St. is closed and some directory listings are out of date. imaginLIGHT now works by appointment only, photographing on location across Montgomery County. Call or text 936.756.4443.
What areas do you serve?
imaginLIGHT serves all of Montgomery County, Texas, including Conroe, Montgomery, Magnolia, Willis, The Woodlands and the Lake Conroe area. Wedding clients are photographed across Texas.
How long has imaginLIGHT Photography been in business?
imaginLIGHT Photography opened in Conroe in 1994, so it has served Montgomery County for 32 years.
Who is the photographer?
Jack Denlinger, the owner, photographs the sessions himself. He holds a photography degree from the University of Texas at Austin, studied with Ansel Adams, was staff photographer for Compaq Computer Corporation, and is a member of the Professional Photographers of America.
Where do sessions take place?
On location, by appointment. Jack photographs at parks, lakes, historic downtowns, ranch land and other scenic spots across Montgomery County — or at your own home — and will help you choose the location and time of day with the best light.
Senior portraits
Which high schools does imaginLIGHT photograph?
imaginLIGHT has served as official photographer for Conroe, Montgomery, Lake Creek, Magnolia, Magnolia West and Willis High Schools, and welcomes seniors from any school.
When should I schedule my senior portraits?
Most seniors are photographed in the summer before or the fall of senior year so their portraits are ready for yearbook deadlines, graduation announcements and gifts. Yearbook deadlines differ by school, so check yours and book early — fall dates fill first.
Can I bring my horse, instrument, car or sports gear?
Yes. Personal props are what make a senior portrait yours. imaginLIGHT's portfolio includes seniors with horses, trucks, motocross bikes, guitars, drums, trumpets, uniforms and letter jackets.
What should I wear for senior pictures?
Bring several outfits: one classic (a solid top or a suit), one that feels like everyday you, and one that shows your activity or style. Solid colors and simple textures photograph best; avoid big logos and busy patterns. Our senior wardrobe guide in the Journal has the full checklist.
Families, children & newborns
Are sub-groupings included in family sessions?
Yes. Special sub-groupings — siblings, each family unit, couples, grandparents with grandchildren — are included in every family session.
How do you work with young children?
Sessions are scheduled on your child's timetable — morning or evening, before or after a nap. Jack uses natural posing to capture real expressions instead of forced smiles.
When is the best time to book a newborn session?
Call while you're expecting. Many photographers prefer the first couple of weeks after birth for sleepy, curled newborn poses, so reserving ahead lets Jack schedule around your due date and adjust when baby arrives.

Do you travel for weddings?
Yes. Jack photographs weddings throughout Montgomery County and travels across Texas — from the Galveston beaches to the Texas State Capitol — bringing a photojournalist's eye to the day.
Do you offer engagement sessions and bridal portraits?
Yes. Engagement sessions, bridal portraits before the wedding, and wedding-day coverage are all available, on location.

How do I see my proofs and order prints?
After your session, proofs are posted to imaginLIGHT's online proofing site at imaginlightphotography.photoreflect.com, where you can view your images, see package options and order prints.
